Is it true that the period between "Post delivery and the first day of menstruation cycle" is safe to have unprotected sex? Chances of getting pregnant is Zero in this period of time? I gave birth in December 2017 and till date my menstruation cycle is not yet started. Is it normal? Please advise on both of these questions. Thank you in advance.

It is common not to get your periods after giving birth especially if you are breast feeding. Yet this period is not completely safe in terms of avoiding the next pregnancy. Many women may get pregnant during the lactational amenorrhea period even before they know it. Check an UPT and if not pregnant by now, use at least barrier contraception or IUCD.
