I am 35 years old diabetic patient f130 pp 165 I am taking metformin 500 mg and vidlagiptin 50 mg twice a day what to do to control it.

Lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. The fasting & PP glucose levels show that blood glucose is fairly well controlled, particularly after food. Fasting can be still lower around 100 mg. There is no need to change any drug or add any. Better exercising and diet control will help in achieving the set objectives. Thanks.

Discuss with your doctor who will either increase the dose of metformin or add some medicine in evening. Be cause your pp blood sugar is acceptable but fasting is little high.
