Hi lybrate-user, this is an region occupied by Liver, right lower Lung and Gall Bladder. Usually pain is associated with problem in one of these organ. A good preliminary test is a good quality ultrasound. If you have fever then CBC should also be done. Any suspicious that Liver is involved Liver function test will be required and similarly if lungs are suspected atleast cxr will also be needed. I hope this was helpful.

Hello, Thanks for your query on Lybrate "As" per your clinical history is concerned please follow like this - 1)Do a clinical examination by your Doctor and to confirm do one Ultrasound and CBC with differential. 2)If any stone detected then go for surgical procedures like [cholecystectomy] Do follow lifestyle modifications like this- 1)Don't skip meals. Try to stick to your usual mealtimes each day. Skipping meals or fasting can increase the risk of gallstones. 2)Lose weight slowly. If you need to lose weight, go slow. Rapid weight loss can increase the risk of gallstones. Aim to lose(0.5 to 1 kilogram) a week. 3)Maintain a healthy weight. Obesity and being overweight increase the risk of gallstones. Work to achieve a healthy weight by reducing the number of calories you eat and increasing the amount of physical activity you get. Once you achieve a healthy weight, work to maintain that weight by continuing your healthy diet and continuing to exercise. Hope that helps
