I have been in depression from 4 months. And I can't sleep at night. Sometimes I break down. and cry all the time at night. What should I do doctor? Please help me out.

Hello, it is best to consult a psychiatrist early in depression to prevent impairment in your personal and professional life. You could choose either medicines or counselling depending upon severity of illness. In the meanwhile, you can:- 1) aerobic exercise for 30 mins daily like walking or running 2) cultivate some hobby that gives you pleasure. 3) interact more with friends and family members. 4) music helps in lifting mood. 5) do yoga, pranayama, meditation or simple deep breathing techniques, whatever comes easy to you. If these things don't help much, don't shy in seeing a psychiatrist.
