Is there difference between few Nabothian cysts on cervix and cysts on ovary. What are the effects of both on fertility and their treatment?

2 Doctors Answered
Ovarian cyst is in ovary and nabothian follicle is in the cervix which is the mouth of uterus. If ovarian cyst is less than 5 cms and simple follicular cyst in usg you should ignore it and it get regressed spontaneously in few months and do not affect fertility. If Nabothian follicle is associated with discharge p/v I. E. Cervicitis or PID OR just usg finding will decide the line of treatment. So send your usg report and your main concern complaint for ovarian cyst or nabothian follicles for resolving your quarries.
