I have elevated PSA 13.48 and my ultrasound shows enlarged prostate volume 31 cc grade I fatty liver prostatomegaly grade III prostatic calcification bladder thickness 3,2 MM non distended urine residual 73 cc and my Dr. Has prescribed dutas T for three months follow up with PSA. I see from net that dutas T may cause prostate cancer. Kindly advise whether am I on right track of medication My age is 74 DR.

Please take a course of antibiotic 3 weeks after consulting your Urologist not physician He will do the digital rectal examination to assess the prostate, whether it is normal or not repeat Serum PSA total and free after 3 weeks show to your Urologist Dutas T does not cause prostate cancer Don't worry it is treatable/ curable.
