Hi, I am feeling very tired for the past couple of months. Not even able to exercise due to tiredness. I sleep for 5 to 6 hrs a day and diet is same as before. Have also lost 3 kgs in 5 months. Please advise the possible reason and solution.

Dear Lybrateuser, - Get some investigations like blood hemoglobin, blood sugar, thyroid hormone level, ECG to rule out any other problem - follow a proper daily routine for meals, exercise, sleep, also reduce stress - have 4-5 small meals including snacks rather than three large meals as it is easier to digest & also provides a continuous flow of energy throughout the day, have meals on time, do not skip meals - reduce the carbohydrate content of your daily diet & increase protein & wholegrain foods in it - try & start exercise daily for 10-15 min, like walking, stretching, doing pushups, squats, crunches, have a snack half an hour before exercise - keep well hydrated, have plenty of oral fluids including 8-10 glasses of eater per day, as even mild dehydration can cause tiredness - sleep well for at least 7-8 hrs at night, keep sleep & wake up time fixed - destress by reading or listening to music or playing an outdoor game or follow a hobby.
