Yesterday i've been to my sister's place after long time where my sisters son has been infected with chicken pox. I've spent long hours with him ignoring the fact that he's infected with chicken pox. Now I am worried even I might be effected with chicken pox as it is easily spreadable disease. Can you please let me know the precautions as of how to avoid me getting infected from chicken pox by him as I've spent longer hours with him yesterday.

If you have had chicken pox earlier you will not get it. If you have not had and have not been vaccinated then there is no preventive available. Watch out for 7-10 days as that is the incubation period for chicken pox. All the best.
