I am diabetic for last 20 years or so. Though I have been taking Glimy M twice a day and seems to be ok to control the blood sugar, but many of the times I take lot of sweets, and that causes the blood sugar go beyond. I use to measure my blood sugar frequently. In a typical day My blood sugar level is - fasting 80-90, after tea 100-110, after breakfast 140-150, after lunch (PP) 200-210. From 3 pm to 1: 30 am (normal time of going to bed) the blood sugar varies from 170 to 230. Next early morning my blood sugar is in the range of 80-90, irrespective of whatever it was previous night. Diabetologist has suggested a small change in the medicines, before lunch he has suggested GLIMy M1 forte in place of glimy m. Your suggestions, and my problem is my family doctor says it can cause problem, as with this pattern my fasting sugar may go lower than 50-60 and can cause problem.

Avoid taking lots of sweets which will help in controlling your blood sugar. Follow advice of your Diabetologist. No need to monitor blood sugar so frequently, because it increases anxiety. Fasting,pp and before dinner will suffice. Once in three months get your HbA1c test done.
