Sugar honey jaggery sweets sweet fruits (banana mangoes cheekoo grapes etc) should be avoided. Other fruits should be taken in moderation. Avoid fruit juices. Vegetables are good. Meals should be small and frequent. Refined flour (maida) items shuld be avoided. Whole cereals and flour made from it should be preferred.
