Dear friend, You need to notice whether your headache aggravates with postural changes of the neck. If it is so, you may be having cervicogenic headache where a nerve at upper part of your neck gets impinged and it results in a radiating pain along one of its branches supplying back of your scalp resulting in constant heaviness and ache. Anyway you need to be seen by a good Neurologist who will examine you and manage accordingly. Although most of the reasons for these type of pain are benign sometimes we need to rule out rare cases as well like vascular etiology etc.
