I have fistulomy surgery for fistula ano (Low type transphincetric) as per doctor documents. For past 2 weeks very less pain with soft bowl movements. Doctor told me to travel through train and airplane. Kindly let me know above fistula is serious or not and what is the chances of second fistula possible in how many years. Do you need some medical documents to check it. Kindly response ASAP. Please let me know frankly. Thanks.

Fistula in Ano is known for recurrence. Normally they recur in 2-3 months but can happen even after 2-3 years. Fistula in routine course is not serious.
