I'm 60+. I'm a farmer. I'm getting a severe pain in my both knees and can't able to walk for a small distance. Some of relatives said that I should have a surgery. Please suggest me whether to have a surgery or any medicines can cure it.

Please try physiotherapy treatment. A combination of ultrasound, stretching and strengthening exercises can help control pain. Sometimes it can help to an extent that you may no longer need surgery. Wish you speedy recovery.
