My wife is pregnant with 16 weeks and having whooping cough since 2-3 weeks. What should I do to get her relief from choking and breathing problem?

Hi. Does she have any asthma problem. How is the child progress on usg scan. If normal the cause may be due to pressing of the baby on the veins. Sleeping to a side may help.

Dear does your wife has a history of such coughing episodes earlier also? or any history of tuberculosis? since she has been coughing for more than 2 weeks, I would strongly suggest that you consult a doctor and get a sputum examination done. Prolonged coughing also puts her at risk for preterm labor and associated complications if this continues.
