I am a 67 year old hyper blood pressure patient, after taking Arkamin100 for last 6 month, I found that my blood sugar level has gone up, it seems that there is no effect of glimepiride which I have been taking for lay 8 years and auger level was OK.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. I have gone through the details given, however, everything is very general. There is no specific information like actual BP readings, blood glucose readings (fasting & Pp) and HbA1c%. Usually antihypertensive drugs do not increase the blood glucose levels. It is possible that current treatment is not adequate. Plus one has to look at your diet and exercise too. Thanks.
