As a beginner in jogging from last 5 days and I feel very tired and little painful legs and muscles. How long would it last? And I take a glass of warm water before workout, is that good or not? Please advice, Thank you so much!

Dear Lybrateuser, - Do warming up before & after jogging, walk for 5-10 min before the actual jog, also do stretching - have 1/2 to 1 glass of water an hour before exercise, also sufficient water after it - have a light snack like a fruit banana, apple or a cup of milk with chocolate or nuts one hour before run & also immediately after it so that a continuous flow of energy is there & you don't feel tired - also do moderate weight lifting for 10-15 min twice a week to build muscles & keep you fit as only jogging can reduce your muscle mass & lower your metabolic rate - having water is always good to keep yourself well hydrated - also have a well balanced diet with more of fruits, vegetables & protein rich foods to keep up your stamina - increase your distance & time gradually only once you get accustomed to a distance & don't feel tired.
