People say drinking cold water i.e directly from the fridge makes you fat and it doesn't help in a diet. Does it matter if the water is cold or not? Or is it myth?Please help me with a good diet.

Cold water is not good for digestion as it dilutes gastric juices. This indirectly leads to indigestion and weight gain. Best is lukewarm water. Even room temperature water is better than cold water. Do not drink any type of water 30 mins before and after food.
