Hello sir, my mom has tumor of dimension of 18 by 22 under the small brain and this symptoms are she caught sleeping all the time and also her emotional since also not working. My question is that is operations for this is necessary and if yes then which operation is required. Thank you.

Dear, Before jumping to treatment, it is utmost importance to know what type of tumor it is. If it is primary brain tumor thn surgery is required, preferably complete removal of tumor if possible without damaging surrounding brain. If it is secondary means disease from some other place in body to spread to brain, primary emphasis should be on finding out primary. In meanwhile, consult Oncologist for symptoms relief.
