Dear Sir, Need immediate help for my niece who is struggling for her life in ICU, Srinagar, Kashmir, ever since she was admitted in the hospital and later diagnosed with Autoimmune Encephalitis. She is in coma without showing any signs of recovery. She is only 17 years old and only child of her parents. A team of doctors of the hospital are attending her but no signs of recovery is in sight. Can we shift her to New Delhi, for the treatment so that her life may be saved. Please Guide and advice. Looking forward to your earlier and valuable suggestion. With Regards.

On a daily basis Make sure she is being taken care by a neurologist and rheumatologist and if her vital parameters are under control than we should be able to control her antigen antibody reaction with steroids and mri Brain will confirm whether any irreversible damage has been done till now and just hope for the best And also enquire about the value of Glasgow coma scale.

You can shift patient to tertiary care hospital if she is vitally stable without any risk during shifting.
