My brother is of 5 years and is diagnosed to be a patient of hypothyroid (his T3, T4,TSH levels were increased). After consultation to doctor, he's taking anti thyroid medicine of 50 mg for last 6 months and after 3 months the blood test report says, his T3 is 0.90,T4 is 5.60 and TSH is 1.83 again after 2 months we did his blood test and the report is T3 is 0.83,T4is 5.50 & TSH is 0.64.After this doctor gave the medicine of 75 mg. Is it appropriate to give 75 mg medicine to a 5 years old kid? What should be the best to bring his TSH, T4 & T3 on level?
