My wife 23 years old having diagnosed as thyroid FREE T4 (ECLIA) >100 PMOL/L AND TSH (ECLIA) <0.005 MICROLU/ml. Pls suggest regarding treatment. We are in Oman.

Reports are suggestive of hyperthyroidism. Hyperthyroidism means excess secretion of thyroid hormone which creats higher metabolic state. It is treated with anthyroid drugs, or radioactive ablation of thyroid or surgical removal of thyroid gland as per suitability and requirement of patient. Most common modality in young persons adopted is antithyroid drugs.
