I am consulting doctors for diabetes and hypertension in bangalore. One doctor prescribes more drugs that another says that much quantity is not required for my present state of the disease. I want to know which medicine of which quantity I have to consume daily? Even pharmacist advice me to have second opinion before consuming higher quantity drugs. I want to consult a doctor who properly advice me to decide the quantity of medicine I have to consume daily.

Dear user. It all depends on your sugar control. There is nothing like too much or too little medications, DIabetes is a subjective condition, means, diabetes in one person might not be similar to another. One person may need only one medication to control the sugar, where another person will need about 3-4 different tablets to control the sugar, In a similar way, diabetes to begin with is easier to treat with less number of medications, wheres diabetes present for a long time would need combination of medications to be get under control in the same person. No matter how many tablets you take, make sure - your sugar is under control -you should not suffer from low sugar levels, -you should not put unnecessary weight and other unnwanted side-effects. If you treatment is unable to achieve any one of the above, it means the time to change.
