I am 61 years old male, diabetic for last 24 years. Presently on insulin Novorapid and Basalog for last three years. I take tadafil 20 mg every alternate day during night. I want to get rid of insulin and be on Homoeopathic medicines for sugar and ED. Kindly suggest medicines to be on. I am always on outdoor duties and visit home after three or four months and cannot get satisfied due to ED.

Dear Lybrate User, You have to try and understand your condition better in order to understand what treatment would be best for you. You have diabetes for the last 24 years and unfortunately, the condition is such that in these many years, your ability to produce insulin from the pancreas is on the decline and you are not producing enough insulin by yourself and hence this has to be administered from external source. That is why you are taking insulin at the moment. I do not think there will be any better treatment other than insulin and hence my suggestion is to continue this without bothering to look for any other alternative, as frankly speaking, there is not any. The quicker you understand this, the better it will be for you.
