I had leg swelling last over one year. Test for sugar, heart, kidney, thyroid, blood est came OK. However, the leg edema continues and of late the skin on one leg has become somewhat rugged and there is discharge of pus/liquid vide a rupture. Can this lead to gangrene? Also, few days back, my testicles have become abnormally enlarged and perspiration like water comes out? CAn this be due to filariasis and whether the testicle / scrotum swelling can come back to normal size? Thre is not pain, but itching in scrotum as well asin the affected part in the legs. Is surgery essential to bring down the testicle to normal size or it can subside with medication?
