In the past 4-5 months, I have noticed a hearing loss in my right ear only (unilateral). I visited two different ENT's and both suggested audiometry and impedance tests. I performed both the tests with a CT scan and it was found that I had otosclerosis. The doctor suggested for stapedectomy and within no time I underwent this surgery, it was performed on 12.03.2017. From the last couple of days I am unable to take proper care of it. Can anyone please let me know what are the chances of this becoming unsuccessful in worst case? And how do I know if something goes wrong post operation as the doc has asked me to visit again after a month. Any additional information related to this will be appreciated much. Thank you in advance.

As you have already got your surgery done and I will suggest you to take precautions properly like not to use a ear phone and avoid jerks etc and always think that nothing should go wrong with your surgery
