Doctor I was diagnosed acute dvt in April 2012 in my right leg and after almost 4 month of bed rest it was again in April 2016 in left leg and I also taken complete bed rest for 4 month. Now it happened again this year in January but it's diagnose chronicle dvt in my left leg but this time I had taken 1 month rest at home (earlier both time I was hospitalized for 10-12 days) I want to know that how it occurs and what is the permanent treatment for this also suggest me diet Thanks Age 41

Hi. It seems that you have not taken the proper treatment for DVT during your previous episodes, that is why you have recurrent DVT. Bedrest is not the treatment for DVT. You should visit a Vascular Surgeon with your complete case history and latest Doppler reports to plan further treatment.
