My mother is of 55 years, she is suffering from chest infection since one month ,and after doing urine test, nitrites and leukocytes were present in the urine, and RDW were high ,she is feeling very weak day by day. What is the reason behind it? What is the problem she is suffering from?

She must be suffering from chest infection with urinary tract infection. Infections are common if patient has uncontrolled diabetes. RDW increased is s/o deficiency of vit b12, folate or iron. So I need more history. Control blood sugar, antibiotics as per physician and look for anaemia as anaemia and infection both can be reason of weakness.
