Hi my TSH level is 4.5 which is in normal range (.3-5.5) according to reports ,but it is on a higher side. Pls suggest as to what leads to hypothyroidism and how to bring it down. Note:I have a baby of 9 months old. T3 Nd t4 are quite normal.

Repeat TSH after one month. If it increses then start thyroid supplement in low dose. There is no known natural way to arrest its progress.
