My friend aged 65 has one sided hearing. Loss is around 30 percent. Which hearing aid will be best within affordable range.

Putting hearing aid depends on the type of loss one is having. If it is sensei neural loss at 65 age it might be sloping loss. Digital hearing aid will be good. But if the other ear is good and one ear is just having 30db loss, I feel you should wait before putting a hearing aid and repeat audiogram after 6 months. Consult a good audiologist before going ahead with hearing aid. Take care.
