I have been an ectomorph all my life. I eat when I'm hungry otherwise I don't. I generally tend to get about 3 meals into my system every day but mostly just 2. I smoke way too many cigarettes and I've quit now for a day. I need to put on weight.

3 to 2 meals a day is ok if you do hard physical work. Being ectomorph must not make you appear sick. I advice you to cut the frequency of smoking by 3 to 4% daily or alt day.
