Please suggest How far consumption of alcohol is responsible for forgetfulness? I used to drink heavily though not daily but at least 4 days in a week. Sometimes even more. But never ever I was in a condition "can not live without alcohol syndrome/feeling" g. That was about 30 years ago and now I have cut down to the just one and a half peg from around 6-8 pegs a day. Never drank or craved for a drink at a particular time of the day/night. .Now I sleep/feel better without a drink while have disturbed sleep (wake up once in the nigh But I forget things easily/frequently, at the nick of the moment though I know that I am forgetting something but can not recollect what. Can it lead to any complication like Alzemeirs etc in future.
