Hi Lybrate user. First of all it is very important to know whether there is any possibility of recovery or reversibility and whether it is the effect of any other systemic disease. If that has been ruled out then one can proceed further. The need of dialysis doesnt only depend on the level of creatinine but on the symptoms as well as other lab values. Hence a proper consultation by a nephrologist is required.
