Hello doctor. Recently my father was suffering from pain in index finger. We thought it's normal and will subside in some days. But it starts increasing day by day. And swelling occurs in the all fingers. We have taken suggestion from general physician. He was surprised to see the swelling. He doubted the clot in vein. Also my father has earlier history of stroke in the brain which causes clot in the brain. Luckily he was saved from the effect of that clot and become normal. But he used to take two medicine continuously, one for thinning of blood and one for diabetes. So knowing the history, he suggested some test related to vein. The result was normal but again he suggested CT scan of neck, lower abdomen and lungs. In the result of CT scan, he saw some fluid in the lungs and tumor in lower abdomen. Now he is telling to take some medicine for swollen finger for 10 days. I am little bit confused about the tumor that whether it is cancer. Or if it is yes then why there is no any symptoms of cancer. And whether every tumor is a cancer?
