My age is 25. I had medical abortion 3 years ago. From that time onwards I am experiencing breast irritation, milk discharge (both sides) and sometimes stomach irritation .i am 5 .7 height and 73 kgs. My cbc, thyroid profile, urine analysis, blood glucose value are all normal and my periods are regular. Please tell me the causes and remedies of my problem.

Hi lybrate-user Some amount of breast discharge is expected after a miscarriage. I feel the problem here is you trying to check if there is discharge from the breast frequently. Please do not do that. The more you check, the more the secretions will be produced. That is nature trying to maintain the milk production and secretion, as long as there is breast and nipple stimulation. Do not touch the breast for 6 months. You make have tightness and pain due to milk production for a few days, Resist the urge to touch your breasts. Use ice packs, wear a good tight bra, take a pain medicine for the discomfort. Slowly the production and secretion will stop.
