Dear doctors, my mother is aged 70 Years. As per her Blood Tests Reports, HbA1c is 8.6 % after fasting. Average Blood Glucose is 200 after fasting. Calcium is 8.69 mg/dl. TSH is 7.34 uIU/ml. T3 and T4 are normal. Rest all her Liver Function Test Results, Iron, Renal, Lipid, Hemogram Results are within normal. Please suggest medicines for her doctors.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. HbA1c% 8.6 is high, showing uncontrolled diabetes. Even fasting glucose of 200 mg is also too high. She needs to be treated properly with suitable medications, diet control and exercise. Similarly her TSH is also high. Please let me know if she is on treatment for hypothyroidism?
