Sir, does taking whiskey help in weight loss? I read an article in a newspaper that taking at least 2 pegs of whiskey is good for health. Please clarify. Thank you.

No, regular alcohol conception causes weight gain. Alcohol is the second highest calorie rich substance after fats. Don't go by industry sponsored articles, as they cannot advertise alcohol, so they try to change public opinion like this. Why else would it be mandatory to put health warning on liquor bottles? If you search for bad effects of alcohol also you will find many.
