I am 25 year old and I used to smoke 2 -3 cigarette since last 2 year and I have sore throat since 20 January since then I have stopped smoking. My General Physician suggested me antibiotics and I've completed the course but I still feel little inflammation in throat while breathing but the doc says the throat is almost fine now. Also I used to get black particle in my cough and I feel irritation in throat and vocal cord while breathing. Kindly help me out and let me know what can I do? Is its something very serious because there's no ENT specialist in my hometown.

Smokers always have a tendency to develop chronic irritation in throat and that?s because of allergic reaction to the substances present in smoke, I?ll suggest you to go for a fibre optic Laryngoscopic examination if you are very much worried about your throat.
