Hi, I'm obese since childhood. I'm 27 years & 6 months old now. I weigh 116 kg. I have been keeping a tab on my weight, working out trying to eat healthy, but I couldn't seem to loose weight. I'm quite active, have normal periods & healthy as per medical reports. Though I'm concerned can I think about conceiving? As I'm scared to go to a clinic to ask this as I've heard my every health issue whether my skin related or cold or anything being associated with my weight. My concern is can I have a healthy pregnancy if I keep working out & eating healthy, even though my weight is not reducing much. P.s.:I have got my hormones,& all other tests done again & again but each Dr. found it to be okay with no anomaly. Kindly help.

Obesity poses a risk for long-term health, even though your tests are normal at present. As the age grows, risk increases. Will it have effect on pregnancy or not, it cannot be predicted. But for a long term health perspective it is important for you to take weight loss seriously. To reduce weight naturally you should avoid packed and market food, reduce wheat and rice based food and minimise sugar, oil and salt. Increase intake of natural food like fruits, vegetables, sprouts, nuts & seeds. Do 30 mins of light cardio & stretching exercise in morning. You can contact me for a customised diet plan.
