Hi to reduce weight diet and exercise play a very important role. You need to have a balanced diet which includes all the four food groups, carbohydrates, proteins, fats and vitamins and minerals. Need to cut down oily foods, have more fibre rich foods and fruits and salads, daliya, oats etc. If you don't have time for exercise you need to take stairs wherever possible.
