Hello Mr. lybrate-user This is an age related and wear/tear effect on bones. Yes, homoeopathy has given quite good results in the management of degenerative arthritis of joint bones and cartilage. Homoeopathic medicines are best suitable for such cases as they have no side effects on any other organ. The pain and swelling can be managed too. Kindly avoid sitting on squatting position, do not over strain in walking and exercise, follow physiotherapy, exercises like quadriceps exercise is very effective too as it strengthens the muscles of knee joint that helps in minimal injury to the joint. Kindly consult a good homoeopathic doctor near by you or contact us through audio or video call for further analysis of your case. Tc.
