I am 34 weeks pregnant with twins through ivf. My doctor told me to take dexamethasone Injections 12 mg x3 shots in 12 hours gap. I have heard that?s it?s a steroid injection and only 2 shots should be taken becuase too many shots can effect the cell membrane of brain of unborn child. So I am worried to take 3 shots. Can anybody solve my query? And I want to know that dexamethasone or Betamethasone which one is more safe for my babies?

Betamethasone I use, but it is ok to use another. 2 or 3 shots practically does not make difference.
