Sir, one of my relative is suffering from liver cirrhosis. He is aged 56. He is having hernia problem also. Doctors suggested that to treat hernia, first his liver should be in order. He has been suggested liver transplantation, donor being his son aged 30. My question is what is the success rate in liver transplantation? After that how much time is needed for hernia operation? Whether his body can sustain both during a short span? To have an expert opinion I am submitting this question. Kindly guide me.
