I am 55 years old. L got root canal done on two of my tooth. I had pain and bad swelling in the gums after that. I was asked to wait for a few weeks to let it heal. Its been a month since then. My teeth are a little shaky and bleed. The doctor asked me to extract both the tooth. What should I do?

The problem you have described here seems to be failed RCT case in which you have to undergo extraction. It is very normal that not all RCT tooth can survive. Poor luck. If you want you can try one last time by visiting an endodontist (RCT specialist). Minor shaking of concerned tooth is not a problem but your age (55) and other systemic illness like high BP, diabetes etc are if you have any. Act accordingly.
