My fasting plasma glucose is 107 mg/dl. Post lunch plasma glucose is 139. Please explain about my sugar levels. And suggest what type of precautions I should take.

However, as regards the precautions following things to be kept in mind: Your BMI is 34.86 kgs (normal <23 kgs/M2), which shows you are close to being in grade 2 obesity. If this is controlled then you will be able to avoid developing diabetes in future. Your ideal body weight should be about 72 kgs. Thanks.
