Dear Lybrateuser, - There are many ways to destress, the most important is proper, relaxed sleep for at least 6-7 hrs at night, others can be listening to light music, a walk for 10-15 min or yoga, meditation for 15-20 min, you can select the one as per your liking & available time - concentration will be good if your mind is properly relaxed, rested, having a well balanced diet with more of fruits & vegetables, proper hydration with 6-7 glasses of water, regular exercise & destressing, all these help to improve your concentration & retaining ability, there are no medications as such for the same - follow a proper routine throughout the day, take small breaks of 5-10 min every hour or two, keep sipping water or other fluids for proper hydration, avoid cell phone & TV or limit the time to once or twice in a day for 10-15 min, sleep & wake up at a fixed time, do not study too late into the night as it can cause a disturbed sleep, give sometime to revise what you studied at the end of the day.
