My mother is having pain in her knees. Doctor has suggested physiotherapy and provide some pain killers. The finding of the X ray is as below Bones are osteopenia. Irregular calcified component suggesting loose body is seen in relation to left supra-patellar bursa. Secondary synovial osteochodromatosis. Osteophytes are seen in the bones around both knee joints including patella. Medial compartment of the tibia-femoral joint spaces are reduced bilaterally. Intercondylar eminences are prominent. Soft tissues appear normal. Impression: Bilateral osteoarthritis changes. Kindly suggest what is the possible remedial measures and how serious is the issue?
