Hello, My father is 60 years of age. A month ago his left calf became swollen. The doctor did an ultra sound and this is the report: Cellulitis both lower legs, lymphadenopathy in left upper thigh, lesser saphenous varicose veins in B/L lowers legs, no e/o DVT, arterial flow normal. Doctor prescribed him:- Osil 500 mg and Brutozyme, both to be taken twice a day. But even after a month, the swelling has hardly gone down. And my father feels no change in his legs for the better. Please help and advice what to do. Are the medicines prescribed enough. Is there anything serious to worry about? Does it take a long time to heal? How long? Should we see another doctor? Any advice is appreciated. Thank You.
