I am 25 years old and I am suffering due to hypo thyroid from last 13 years. My TSH level is 6.48.now I am taking Thyrox 75 mg. I had my period on 2nd january 2018. But now again my period get started on 29 january. Is it a normal or it twice period in a month? Pls give me opinion and help me out.

Thanks for the query. When one is on adequate dose of levothyroxine, then TSH is usually around 3 to 4 mU/L. At that level all the symptoms of hypothyroidism are in check. Since your TSH level is 6.48 mU/L, it is clear that present dose is not adequate and hence menstrual irregularity is seen. It is essential to maintain TSH < 4 mU/L. Then only you will be healthy.
