Dear lybrate-user, Your relative should not get disheartened by one failure of ivf as the maximum success rate one can expect is 40-45% only. She should try once again. At the age of 41 years, ovaries become v weak and its difficult to produce good eggs. If her ovarian reserve has gone down which usually does at this age, she can opt for ivf with egg donation. Hope this helps.
