I am using hydroquinone 4% since 2 days on my acne marks to reduce dark spots, the nearby area I applied it has turned slightly red, is it normal or I should stop the usage.

Hello, It is normal for redness to appear when using hydroquinone 4%. Do not use for more than a month if that cream has steroid along with it. Also plain hydroquinone nest not use for long time. After two months take a break just use Sunscreen. Later after a period of break you can restart. Consult a certified Dermatologist before starting any creams.
